From Tobacco Leaf to Handmade Cigar
Our visit takes us to the farm where the artisans behind El Club del Turro grow, dry, age, and prepare their own tobacco.

This is your opportunity to see the process up close, from the tobacco plant to the finished cigar. You'll learn about the different stages of the plant, its characteristics, and the traditional methods used to create an artisan cigar.
Then it's time to roll up your sleeves.
​
You'll meet Antonio, the master cigar roller, who will guide you through the process of creating your own cigar using locally grown tobacco leaves. He'll show you the techniques that turn those leaves into a finished product, and you'll get to experience the craft for yourself.

It's a fascinating process, and you'll come away with a much greater appreciation for the skill and patience that go into making a quality cigar.

Once you've learned the art of cigar making, it's time to enjoy another part of the experience.
​
You'll take part in a cigar tasting paired with Puerto Rican rum, with ingredients provided to cleanse your palate between tastings.
You'll also receive a bundle featuring an artisan cigar, along with a cutter and lighter, which you can take home or enjoy on-site.

Before we leave, you'll have time to explore the farm's cigar shop and bar.
