Just off the coast near Fajardo lies one of the most beautiful small islands in Puerto Rico — Cayo Icacos.
Part of the protected La Cordillera Nature Reserve, Icacos is known for its calm turquoise water, soft white sand, and incredible views of the Caribbean Sea.
This is the kind of place people picture when they imagine a tropical island.
Once we arrive, you’ll have up to four hours to enjoy the island. You can swim in the warm water, relax on the beach, explore the shoreline, or simply sit back and enjoy the scenery.
Because this is a more relaxed tour, you won’t feel like you’re part of a huge crowded group. Instead, you can enjoy the island at your own pace.
On the way to and from the coast, I’ll also share some of the history of Puerto Rico and stories about the island that many visitors never hear.
After returning from Icacos, we’ll stop at a local spot for refreshments before heading back.
It’s an easygoing day and one of the best ways to experience the natural beauty of Puerto Rico.
